Contact a personal banker to stop payment on a check. An oral stop payment lasts for 2 weeks. A signed stop payment last for 6 months.
Which ATMs can I use without being charged a fee?
Iowa State Bank does not charge you for using a non-owned ISB machines. ISB belongs to the Shazam Privilege program, which means you are allowed to use these machines for free. Go to www.shazam.net for a listing of machines.
What type of overdraft protection does Iowa State Bank offer?
A checking account can have overdraft protection from another checking or savings account at Iowa State Bank or you may apply for a reserve loan that accrues interest daily on the amount outstanding.
Can I exchange/obtain foreign currency at Iowa State Bank?
Foreign currency can be purchased or cashed through Iowa State Bank. The fee is $20 per currency type and can take 2 - 3 weeks for processing.
